Job Description

The engineer will work with SIP Products (SBC/SDM/OCOM/LSB).  We currently have an important footprint installed, and critical to have skilled resources working on projects where the Customer requirements and expectations are very high to leverage our presence and bring confidence to our customers.

Responsibilities and Duties

Develop and lead network solutions for our Oracle SIP platforms: SBC, SLB, SR, SDM, OCOM.
Technical solution analysis, architecture, and routing design 
Migration and Database Conversion planning 
Performance/Optimization Tuning
Integration/Interoperability Testing 
Performance monitoring, integration, upgrade, and troubleshooting
Prepare and Manage Technical presentations to the Customer to discuss solution architecture, call flows, definitions, and hands-on service demonstration.
Service delivery activities include on-site and remote implementation of new systems, technical discussions and explanations of proposed solutions with customers, development of methods of procedure, and other documentation as required by the Customer.

Qualifications

The candidate should have 3+ years of experience in the Telecom Market.
Strong Knowledge Oracle SIP platform: SBC, SLB, SR, SDM, OCOM.
Strong Knowledge about Telco Signaling Protocols (SIP)
Knowledge of IP networking (LAN/WAN, routing)
Knowledge about Linux/Unix operating systems and bash scripting.

The candidate should demonstrate customer service skills, creativity, business analysis, strong communication abilities and must be excellent in maintaining good relationships.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies should be necessary to be able to talk with arguments in front of customers.

Anticipate project risks and make corrective recommendations to the project manager
Resolve moderately complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

 The consulting position operates independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or Customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment within defined policies and processes to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Knowledge/experience with the Oracle Communications platforms. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients in English and Spanish language. Ability to travel as needed.

An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.
