Description

What You’ll Do - Be the vital piece of the puzzle that connects us to the millions of businesses that need our help to evolve.

  1. Manage Core Banking Implementation or Managed Service projects
  2. Business development in winning more business in related field
  3. Coordinate with other Oracle teams both locally and offshore for various activities.
  4. Use defined standards/tools/processes to achieve deliverable that meet quality expectations of Oracle / Customer.
  5. Assist with analysis, design and implementation of solutions for various business requirements during the project.
  6. Coordinate with Offshore teams for various technical deliverables including customizations and support teams for patches, fixes.
  7. Document all work in accordance with agreed standards/processes applicable for Oracle / customer.
  8. Adhere to defined Change Control Process of Oracle / Customer. Comply with Oracle / Customer Audit and Compliance requirements.
  9. Ensure deliverables quality review.
  10. Perform proper handover/knowledge transfer at end of each assignment.
  11. Timely status reporting to supervisor
  12. Timely submission of timesheets for oracle/customers.

 

Required Skills/Experience

What You’ll Bring

  • Good knowledge of project/Program management
  • Should have a minimum 10+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Preferably PMP Certified
  • Should have the knowledge of Agile methodology and Agile certification would be an added advantage
  • Should have thorough knowledge on Word, Excel, Power-point, visio and MPP
  • Should have managed large and complex projects, preferably, core banking implementation projects (FLEXCUBE/Finacle/T24)
  • Team Management - should be able to manage fairly a big team, including virtual teams
  • Ability to Negotiate and resolve conflicts
  • Should be able to manage the triple constraints, effectively
  • Ability to look out Business Development / opportunities
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is a MUST and knowledge of French would be an added advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ready to travel for short or long term
  • Should be able to easily interact with CXOs of the Banks
  • Should be able to identify the risk well in advance and mitigate them
  • Ability to work under pressure

 

An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
