Oracle Health Sciences GBU (Global Business Unit) provides industry leading solution to Life Sciences organizations including Pharmaceutical companies, CROs (Contract research Organizations), Academic research and Healthcare providers that include care providers, IDN (integrated delivery networks), public regional/national healthcare organizations. The portfolio of Oracle Health Sciences includes industry leading Cloud and/or on-premise solutions for eClincial (EDC, CTMS, Clinical Analytics, and Clinical Warehousing), Safety, Pharmacovigilance and signal detection, Healthcare interoperability, Enterprise Healthcare analytics and Translational Research.

Health Sciences Consulting India is the offshore (India) arm of Oracle HSC (Health Sciences Consulting) that provides services offering to the customers using Oracle Health Sciences products globally. The services include product implementations, upgrades and migration, expert services on Oracle health sciences products and managed services.

 

Role description

Health Sciences Consulting India is looking for Principal consultant - Oracle Life Science Products implementation expert. Primary role of consultant is to involve in requirements development including workshops, Develop technical solutions, and Development and maintenance services to customers on Oracle Health Sciences products- Seibel CTMS, LSH and DMW . Typical projects include implementation, customization, upgrades & enhancements of Oracle Health Sciences products both on-premises and on cloud. Principal technical consultant shall take complete ownership of technical design, implementation and custom development during product implementation cycles by providing domain, Oracle products & services and solution skills in an individual as well as team capacity.

Key technical areas include, Product Configurations, Integrations, Data migration, Database programming, Technical Upgrades, Custom Reports, Dashboards etc.

 

Key responsibilities include

  • Involve in requirements development and workshops with customers.

  • Understand and analyze requirements.

  • Provide technical architecture and design as per the user requirements.

  • Prepare/Review/Modify technical design documents.

  • Development/Build and Test as per the design and user requirements

  • Perform design and source code reviews.

  • Develop/Review test cases and test scenarios.

  • Work with the other members of the team to perform the tasks and to achieve    project objectives.

  • May lead and direct other team members.

  • Ensure to meet the expected quality standards.

  • Provide and involve in technical support to the business team.

  • Support customers during validation and UAT.

  • Involve and working closely with the project lead/ manager in the planning to accomplish the project goals.

  • Provide guidance in variety of technical concepts, practices, standards and procedures.

  • Understand and follow the process for the project and the business unit.

  • Work towards achieving the business objectives of the business unit.

  • Good knowledge of end to end CTMS processes and ability to do design as per business requirement and Siebel OOB capability

  • Good knowledge of modules like Program/Protocol/Region/Site Management.

  •  Should have working knowledge of Site visit Reporting (SVR), Subject module, Regulatory, Payments and Integration with other systems.

  • Working knowledge of BIP Reports and PL/SQL would be added advantage

  • Good understanding of Siebel data model, config, escripting, EAI, workflows

  • Good understanding of non-functional design, best practices like error handing, performance improvisation etc.

  • To define functional and technical requirements with end users and technical

  • Review application and technical architecture deliverables throughout development to ensure quality standards.

  • Engage and deliver Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs), trainings & demos. Where required, co-ordinate customer workshops.

  • Review technical documentation to verify compliance with business requirements and established architectural standards and guidelines

  •  Should have good knowledge of DMW/LSH implementation

  •  Should be able to create mdd files as per customer specification

  •  Creation of studies, data models and transformations

  • Implementation of various types of transformations including usage of staging tables, pivot and unpivot transformations

  •  Migration of transformation from one model to another

  • Create PL/SQL programs/packages in LSH and be able to use them as expressions in DMW

  • Complete lifecycle implementation knowledge. Promotion of studies from Dev to QC to Prod

  • Debug issues in installation or submission of Data models

  • Create simple and custom Validation Checks

     

 Qualifications (Must)

  • Minimum 9 years’ experience in the IT/ Software solutions and services industry.
  • Hands-on experience in Seibel CTMS and LSH,DMW product implementations
  • Strong in Clinical domain
  • Proficient in  Seibel configuration, integration, BIP and PL/SQL,
  • Very good understanding of the Pharmacovigilance/ Health Care database.
  • Understanding of healthcare and life sciences standards like E2B, CDISC will be added advantage.
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.!|!
