Description

What You’ll Do - Be the vital piece of the puzzle that connects us to the millions of businesses that need our help to evolve.

1. Develop programs as per specifications/requirements given by oracle/customer within the planned schedule. He/she must use defined standards/tools/processes to achieve deliverables that meet the quality expectations of Oracle/client.

2. Document all work in accordance with agreed standards/processes applicable for oracle/customer.

3. Coordinate with offshore team for various technical deliverables including customizations and support teams for patches, and fixes.

4. Adhere to the defined Change Control Process of oracle/customer. Comply with oracle/customer audit/compliance requirements.

5. Ensure quality code delivery.

6. Perform proper handover/knowledge transfer at end of each assignment.

7. Timely status reporting to supervisor.

8. Timely submission of timesheets for oracle/customers

 

Required Skills/Experience

Primary Skills :

  • Should have sound business knowledge in Core Banking, Current Savings A/c Teller, Deposit, Interest and Charges, and Payment Modules.
  • Experience in end-to-end Development / Implementation / Support activities covering expertise areas such as design of customizations, and executing Test cycle rounds including End of Days.
  • Working knowledge of Release management and Source control tools.
  • Issue Tracking on System and follow-up for resolution of same with stakeholders.
  • Good client interaction skills in areas including presentation of solutions,
  • Exposure to software deployment and troubleshooting on Application Server software especially Oracle WebLogic
  • Ability to interact and communicate with client Business / IT Teams independently
  • Lead technical team members in Development or Implementation or Managed Service activity.
  • Participate and lead if required, the project meetings and Product-Walkthrough workshops with the Customer.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation and communications skills, proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Excellent knowledge of banking terminologies, concepts and processes
  • Facilitate resolution of issues and roadblocks
  • Quickly assesses customer needs, develops innovative plans to solve complex business workflow
  • Knowledge on Islamic Banking modules.

Secondary Skills :

  • Excellent Exposure to Banking Domain
  • Exposure to software development processes and practices, DevOps tools, Testing tools
  • Knowledge of Oracle OBIEE Reports, BIP, and middleware such as Oracle Fusion SOA Suite
  • Awareness of the latest technologies in Banking

Personal Attributes:

· Fluency in English and Arabic is a MUST and knowledge of French would be an added advantage

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work in a team environment

· Ready to travel for short or long term

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
