Job description

·        You will be part of the cross-disciplined JD Edwards Service team. The role comes with a lot of autonomy in introducing change and work with highly skilled professionals in enterprise applications. As the JDE Service team SME, you will take point in delivering customer solutions, supporting customer environments (Change control, and incident management), defining standards, and work closely with customers to improve their experience with our services.
·        You will be working with solution architects, customer's technical teams, internal stakeholders, and Oracle cloud teams to drive results. You will be required to identify gaps in the overall design (system/security/storage/network/ applications/ standards etc ) as customer application workload moves from on-prem to Oracle’s public cloud environment.
·        The job also includes presenting your solutions to executives and technical leads inside Oracle as well as customers. You will be required to balance short-term business needs vs. long-term technical needs. You are expected to be self-motivated to take ownership of work assignments without much supervision and accountable for driving results through innovation and customer satisfaction.

What You Need to Have

• A BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Computer Science, or equivalent
• Successful candidates will have 12+ years of related experience and a dedication to ongoing professional development.
• Prior experience as a Technical Lead/Manager (Sr Engineer/Architect) for medium to large scale JDE deployment
• BS level technical degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science or Engineering background preferred; MS Degree desired.
• have excellent knowledge and Hands-on Experience in Implementation and Production Support Model
• Experience in the Installation and Configuration of the JDE EnterpriseOne 9.0, 9.1 and 9.2
• Run and Maintain the JDE Production Customers and manage their day to day JDE CNC Administrative tasks
• Experience in CNC activities like Security, OMW, OMC, ESUs/ASUs & Package Build and Deployment

Expertise on

• Operating System: OL (Oracle Linux) / Unix and Windows
• Database: Oracle Database (Including RAC & Exadata) and MS SQL
• Application WebServer: Weblogic Server (WLS)
• Ability to code in Python or equivalent language and work with RestAPIs provided by the JDE SMC will be required
• Experience in using and supporting the JDE Orchestrator will be beneficial.
• You should have Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills and be a team player.

Responsible for our production infrastructure, including the servers and services which support our growing client base as well as designing and implementing highly scalable environments. This Engineer works with other teams in the organization and provides infrastructure solutions for their needs. Understands client systems and applications, networking, infrastructure, data centers, web tools and technologies, databases and Cloud, Big Data, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and more.

Design new scalable solutions for fast changing infrastructure environment with complex needs in fields like: configuration deployments, monitoring, and logging. Perform deep drill down analysis into performance bottlenecks and provide necessary fixes. Bring in new ideas, change, evolve, improve and simplify the production infrastructure. Work closely with our development and research teams and provide customer friendly solutions and support. Responsible for working on the design, development, and/or deployment of enterprise supporting systems.

BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Suggested majors include Computer Science or Mathematics. Working knowledge of software development tools, methodologies, and programming languages. Experience working with external or internal customers to implement large scale solutions, business process architecture, application system design, and implementation. Design and implementation of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions using a variety of cloud platform services. Highly technical and analytical, possessing significant implementation and operations experience. Identifies and implements complex solutions in experience of application or server architecture and networking. A minimum of 8+ years experience in application or server architecture and networking or related experience.
