Job Description

This position is a customer facing position that will guide customers thru the customer's onsite review of Oracle Cloud Security and Operational Controls.

The candidate should be well versed in Security concepts & Software as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Infrastructure as a Service delivery platform in a Cloud environment.

In addition, there is a requirement to understand and articulate the contents of various audit/compliance reports and certifications, i.e. SSAE16 SOC 1 & SOC 2, ISO certification, PCI, HIPAA. Previous experience supporting customer audits is a must. An ideal candidate should have working experience and knowledge of security and audit requirements from regulatory bodies such as EBA, MAS and FINRA.

While not required, the ideal candidate would hold industry recognized certifications in information security, audit and risk management, such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CCSP and etc.

The ideal candidate must display exceptional communication skills; a very thorough and organized work methodology, and can manage multiple ongoing tasks of varying completeness.

The candidate will need to demonstrate they have the appropriate skill set to design and develop audit procedures, and review/evaluate work of associates within and outside of the Oracle Cloud Security and Operations, Compliance, and Risk Management.

  • Acts as audit lead on behalf of Oracle with Oracle clients. Defines internal/external audit process to execute client annual audit plan to meet internal and client audit objectives.
  • Assumes responsibility as project leader for special audit projects and provides advisory and consulting services to management. Recommends and in many cases, implements revisions to audit procedures to enhance efficiencies.
  • Works along-side internal management, Compliance, GIS, external audit clients and applicable business associates as determined by the audit scope.
  • When applicable, coordinates and directs activities of assigned auditors including but not limited to training, guidance of auditing tasks and procedures, reviews work for completeness; and provide feedback to management on assigned auditors.
  • Prepares reports for internal and external company executives. Summarizes audit objectives, scope, findings, conclusions and management response.
  • Conducts oral and written presentations to all levels of management, as appropriate, during and upon the completion of audits. Ensures audit summary is prepared within established deadline.
  • Management of client findings and remediation requests. Manages internal adequacy and timeliness of and the corrective action taken on significant audit findings.

The expectation is that this position will evolve as new services are added to the Oracle Cloud offerings, new processes are implemented or existing processes amended, and knowledge transfers take place from multiple internal teams.

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
