Cloud Senior Technical Program Manager 

Seattle, WA

 

Seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive large scale Cognitive Services (ML/AI) programs for building Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure. Preferred candidates will need to have a mix of technical experience and business acumen. At Oracle, we are investing billions in the talent and technology to make the next great public cloud. This role is available on the OCI Cognitive Services. We are addressing exciting challenges at the intersection of artificial intelligence and cutting-edge cloud infrastructure. We are building cloud services in natural language processing (NLP)), decision support (Anomaly detection, Fraud detection etc), Speech and computer vision that work out of the box for enterprises. Our product vision includes ability for enterprises to be able to customize the services for their business and train them to specialize on their data by creating micro models that enhance the global AI models.

 

Preferred Qualifications\: 

  • Strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure
  • Experience driving large Infrastructure projects in other Public Cloud providers
  • Prior experience driving ML/AI projects preferred
  • Heavy expertise in managing complex programs spanning across multiple functions/teams
  • Experience with continuous improvement or Kaizen processes
  • Strong in verbal, written communication and detailed oriented 
  • Must be willing to work in a fast pace environment and adjust to changing priorities while maintaining a can-do attitude 
  • Self-starter and can work independently while applies sound business judgment to solve complex issues
  • Project Management Methodologies 
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of work experience in related industry or 15 years of work experience in a related industry 

 

Position is located in the Oracle Cloud Development Center Seattle, Washington.

!|!Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
