Job Description
• The primary responsibility for this position is to strengthen Oracle’s presence in Data Warehousing, Data Integration and Big data areas.
• Develop and deliver high quality, customized Oracle presentations and demonstrations to meet customer and partner needs for technology requirements
• Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions.
• Design, validate and present Oracle software solutions, including advanced product concepts, future direction and 3rd party complimentary products.
• Ability to install software in the customer environment and to run proof of concepts with limited support
• Work closely with Sales team to establish account presence and build trust with key contacts at technical level.
• Become the recognized expert in technology solutions. Keep abreast of all new products, market trends, future directions and the competition for areas of focus.
• Demonstrate a broad understanding of Oracle products across disciplines by articulating product features, benefits and competitive advantages.

Qualifications
• Education\: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, advanced degree desirable.

• Required skills and knowledge\:

* Oracle Data Warehousing technologies knowledge and hands-on experience
* Good knowledge and strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database/Exadata. Experience with other databases is a big plus. SQL performance tuning experience is a big plus.
* Hands-on experience with at least one data integration products\: Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica etc.
* Hands-on experience with at least one data replication products\: Oracle GoldenGate, Attunity, Shareplex etc.
* Basics of Linux/Unix for installation and configuration of products
* Ability to learn new technologies fast without formal trainings
* Understanding of competitive landscape
* Be self-sufficient – ability to learn quickly and willing to investigate customer’s business and industry without formal training.
* Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills\: needs analysis, positioning, business justification.
* English – at least Intermediate level

• It is required to have knowledge and experience in at least several of following areas\:

* Hadoop ecosystem
* Kafka and Stream analytics
* Programming languages\: Python, Java
* NoSQL technologies (HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB etc)
* Experience with Oracle Data quality or Oracle Enterprise Metadata Management is big plus
* Cloud hands-on experience (Oracle Cloud, AWS, MS Azure etc) is a big plus

• Additional desirable knowledge and skills\:

* Good understanding of Oracle technologies concepts and product portfolio (Database, Fusion Middleware, development tools, Java EE, etc.)
* Project management experience

!|!Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills\: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
