Job Description

At Oracle NetSuite, we care!  We care about the evolution of people and business and making life a bit easier. We focus on encouraging productivity, accomplishments, and job success through powerful cloud technology.  We listen to the needs of our customers and users, we are passionate about fulfilling our mission to enable companies to realize their vision on the very best technology. We are looking for experts to join our NetSuite family to accelerate the evolution of our technology. By putting together a dynamic and passionate team of designers, writers, researchers, developers, and product managers we will be able to delight our customers by designing and executing next generation solutions that focus on insight, control, automation and agility.

The scope of our opportunity is endless!

Yes. We’re absolutely serious.

And we can’t do it without your help.

We need thoughtful, talented, fearless and multi-faceted designers who love empowering users with extraordinary user experiences.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for a talented Principle Visual Designer to join our Experience Design Team preferably in Barcelona (or remote in EMEA). You will lead a collaborative team that is redefining our product vision with simplified, user-centered experiences and new visuals. You'll be iterating on an existing design system to fit our custom needs defined by you and the design team.

Working closely with designers, researchers, and product managers, you will create design principles and define our design guidelines. You will work collaboratively across multiple workgroups within the team and throughout the organization to push forward the use of components, icons, color, and typography to constantly evolve our visual design language. Relying on your innate set of user-centered design principles, you will produce high-quality visuals—from concept to execution—across multiple contexts and digital platforms. You are also skilled at interaction and experience design; willing to jump in wherever you can help.

As a principle designer, you will use your years of experience to lead by example, establishing and communicating best practices to guide fellow teammates and represent the team across the organization. You are a relationship builder and are comfortable working with roles of all levels and capabilities, incorporating ideas, and gathering inspiration from multiple sources. You will adapt the visual design across our products and will uphold brand standards and consistency where required.

You thrive on working well with others. You make the people around you better. You love to collaborate with designers, user researchers, engineers, product managers, executives, and inspire them to do their best.

You get stuff done and you’re a fantastic storyteller. You know that our products tell our customers a story through the user experience. You won’t rest until that story is a compelling one.

You love rules and you know when to break them. You think systemically, because you know that's required when creating a coherent experience, but you also know when the system needs to expand to remain agile. You know when to do something completely unique and when to trust your past experiences.

You don’t already know everything and you love to learn. You’re inspired by helping users solve their problems in unique ways. You understand the why - or ask why not.
