Principal Product Manager  – Oracle Visual Builder Studio (special focus on DevOps/CI/CD/Containers/Kubernetes/Microservices)

But the cutting edge technology which empowers all these SaaS customers to build next generation, intelligent and feature-rich bespoke Web and Mobile applications on the top of default SaaS features, is a Low Code Development platform. It has been branded by Oracle in the name of Oracle Visual Builder Studio. Once built, developers can also use VB to automate the entire DevOps pipeline for the bespoke applications, and eventually deploy them in production runtime ensuring Security, High Availability and Optimum Performance.

Visual Builder will shape up in near future as a framework heavily leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to act as a “Digital Autopilot” for customers. It will provide Hands-on mentoring for new developers with AI-assisted next-step-suggestions to teach them how to build apps in real time. Outcome will be increased developer productivity and capacity with AI-assisted development including smart suggestions for application logic flows.

For this amazing platform, 8 years experience candidate is needed for VB Studio Product Management team in India. This role would require the concerned person to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for VB Studio (with special focus on areas like -  DevOps/CI/CD/Containers/Kubernetes/Microservices) and act as the chief consultant for customers, partners as well as internal Oracle teams, to facilitate their successful adoption of VB Studio platform. Sustaining a Visionary mindset, this expert will not only own the future strategy of Oracle VB Studio DevOps oriented features, but will be responsible for generating numerous blogs and articles, presenting sessions, demos, conducting Hands-On labs in national and international conferences. Another responsibility will be to manage the concerned overall developer community thru managing the online forums and slack channels.

Technical Skillset required for this role

- Knowledge of Application Planning, Development, Testing, Deployment

- Knowledge of DevOps/CI/CD concepts and the framework, tools and technologies required for implementing Automated DevOps pipeline for a Cloud product

- REST Web Services (Java)

- Performance Optimization, Setting up High Availability and Security in Web and Mobile Applications

- Web Services Security, Identity and Access management

!|!Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.!|!
