Job Description

Product Manager/Legislative Analyst France

Location Flexible

Within the HCM Development team, supporting the development of HCM Cloud and EBS localisations. The team is responsible for statutory compliance of the HCM product.

About the Role

· Reporting to the Product Director HCM Localisations EMEA.

· You will provide statutory compliance support for France.

· You will be responsible for the creation of legislative and business requirements for the locale and in particular payroll. They should provide assistance and guidance to development teams.

· You will be involved in expanding new capabilities and functionalities of Oracle HCM Cloud

· Communicate with customers, other third parties and internal lines of product representatives regarding legislative requirements, for example PeopleSoft.

· Resolve, in conjunction with the Support team any issues/queries raised by clients regarding legislative matters.

· Represent Oracle HCM at any seminars or other meetings that are directly related to the legislation of the locale.

· Develop an in-depth deep knowledge of the product’s functionality and the related business processes

· Evaluate and analyse the competitive landscape and industry trends: Established players and new market entrants. Maintain a close understanding and appreciation of competitive solutions. Deliver competitive analysis - by market and product/solution area

Candidate profile

Depending where the candidate resides some travel will be required to meetings in France with regulatory authorities.

Either

· A native French speaker with good/fluent written and spoken English, or someone with good/fluent French language ability (in addition to English)

· Currently performing a functional analyst or business analyst role with a software vendor or systems implementer with experience of France.

· Currently a payroll practitioner with experience of French payroll.

· Currently a HR professional with work experience in France, however they would need to be analytical

· Ideally with experience of Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft or HCM Cloud.

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
