Summary:
Oracle NetSuite has an exciting technical product manager opportunity for a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual to build the next generation of ERP offerings. Product Manager will be assigned responsibilities in the Procure to Pay product area and will be the go-to person for translating business requirements to user needs, and working with scrum teams in an agile development framework to deliver solutions that delight customers in specified timelines.
An ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication, prioritization, cross-functional team collaboration, and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with customers across multiple verticals (Manufacturing, Wholesale / Distribution, Retail, Software, General Business, Services) to build the next generation of supply chain offerings by understanding the business needs
· Proactively define and drive the creation of new features that delight customers and help customers grow their business.
· Document use cases, write user stories, and collaborate with UX on user-centered designs that clearly articulate desired product functionality.
· Collaborate with Development, QA, Doc, UXR and UX teams to deliver great products and tools for both the customers as well as developers.
· Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and offerings.
· Manage the product backlog and prioritize product enhancements, customer and partner requests by making smart, decisive tradeoffs using data-driven analysis and sound judgment.
· Partner with Marketing, Sales, Professional Services and Support to successfully rollout our products and ensure a great end-to-end customer experience.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Must be a self-motivated team player.
- Ability to gather complex customer requirements and translate requirements into a detail plan for execution.
- Knowledgeable in 2 of the following functional areas: Sourcing, Purchasing, Supply Chain Collaboration, Purchase Contract Management, Vendor Management, Billing, Accounts Payable, Accounting, Payment, AP Automation.
- 3 years of product management or product owner experience preferred. Must have experience operating in an agile development framework.
- Experience in building and shipping applications as a product manager or business analyst for more than 2 product releases.
- Technical proficiency to participate in design discussions with development.
- BA Business Administration or BS Engineering required. MBA a plus.
As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
