Job Description

Position Title:  Product Manager, Measurement

Oracle Data Cloud (ODC) Measurement, Moat Reach

We’re looking for a super smart, highly motivated product manager to join our winning team in building our next generation product portfolio. Oracle Advertising delivers measurement solutions to all players in the digital and TV advertising space.  We build cutting edge big data solutions on our Oracle ID Graph platform to deliver actionable analytics.  While Oracle Advertising is the market leader in measuring this >$100B industry, we're at the beginning of our roadmap to transform adtech.

Department Description:

Measurement is all about giving marketers the power to understand how well their ad budget is being spent and how to spend it better the next time. It is also about helping publishers understand how well their inventory is performing, and how to optimize their own offering.  Moat Reach does this by connecting actual impressions served to individuals across multiple platforms to enable in-depth person-based analytics.

This is a new and innovative space and that energy pervades the work we do every day. If you like the idea of matching wits and building solutions with the best and brightest in social media and advertising—Facebook, NBC, Google, or McDonald’s - this is the right place for you. Some of our near-in priorities are bringing person-based measurement to the huge but historically obtuse television advertising industry; building and growing partnerships with the biggest platforms in the adtech ecosystem; and delivering real-time, always-on measurement.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Product Manager you will engage with a high octane, cross-disciplinary team to conceive, design and implement the Oracle Advertising measurement strategy. In short, you will own the vision and success of our products end-to-end. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed in an open collaborative peer environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Understand every facet of the product and the relevant marketplace ecosystem
  • Collaborate to identify and define specs for killer features
  • Prioritize features for the product roadmap with tech and data science teams, and ensure successful product releases
  • Engage with customers for demonstrations and product feedback
  • Manage product launches and define and track KPI’s to measure success and identify ongoing improvements

 Candidate Profile:

  1. Intellectual curiosity
  2. Understands what motivates brand marketers and how our product can answer those questions better than any other
  3. Has built, or worked on, products in the marketing/measurement arena, landing those products successfully, driving revenue and business impact
  4. Data analytics is second nature – ability to ask key questions of big data and do back-of-envelope math, even if you don’t think of yourself as a full-fledged data scientist
  5. Never fully satisfied with your product – delighting customers in ways they could not conceive is what drives you
  6. Loves whiteboarding and collaborating on new ideas with a variety of different subject matter experts such as designers, developers and business leaders
  7. Ability to work in and lead teams, building consensus toward common vision while understanding tradeoffs
  8. 5+ years’ experience in relevant, innovative product management job functions
  9. Bachelor’s degree from a top university, or appropriate work experience working on well-known software products
  10. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  11. Attention to detail & organization to navigate complex, world-class tech systems
  12. Technical ability to understand workflows, run SQL queries and get actionable insights

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bonus points if you have been responsible for measurement products in the marketing space, other space, or have been a product manager at a tech company
  • Software engineering or data science training
  • Experience in the AdTech, TV or marketing tech space
  • MBA from a top program
