Job Responsibilities
- Be the product champion in the eyes of the customers. Be the visible face for customers and partners and will speak at public conferences.
- Drive product positioning and GTM alignment across sales, business development, product marketing, product management, consulting, engineering and functions to deliver successful solutions for the customer.
- Focus on driving customer and partner success through our products. You will understand the unique business needs of each of your customers, able to evangelize our products/solutions, and work with fellow product managers, marketing, sales and support to ensure that our products are making our customers successful.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key account and customer contacts as a trusted advisor for customers and partners.
- Independently coordinate and monitor with customer/ partner implementations, to the see whether product is configured correctly and running optimally and proactively solve problems.
- Work with customers and marketing team to produce reference case studies, whitepapers, blogs, customer videos, evangelization etc.
- Help refine product vision and strategy by creating MRD and you will continuously educate inbound product managers on your customers’ stories and pain points and contribute detailed feature ideas to the product road map.
- Carry out competitive analysis, prepare competitive battlecards , competitive win stories etc.
Qualifications
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in in computer science or engineering, or 10+ years with experience in Data Integration, GoldenGate or related Data Replication technologies
- At least 6 years of professional experience in a client/customer-facing role such as management consulting, enterprise product management, marketing, business development or solution specialist.
- Excellent presentation, communication and organizational skills.
- Obsessed with customer success and references. Willing to take that extra mile to be the customer advocate and make customer win with your product.
- Excellent experience with tools for documentation, spreadsheets, presentation, graphics, reporting tools, video editing etc.
- Good time management skills and meeting your commitments.
Good to have:
- MBA in Marketing
- Experience in the range of 8-12 years.
- Experience working on database/data warehouses/data integration technology products.
- Experience running outbound product management or program management or partner management for at least 2-3 years.
- Skilled storytelling abilities to increase usage, adoption and competitive wins.
- Solid Influencing skills
- Experience working on cloud enterprise software products.
- Experience in translating business models into technical solutions and vice versa.

Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
