CLOUD PRODUCT REFERENCE SPECIALIST

JOB DESCRIPTION
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES\:
  • Lead the development and day-to-day management of product/portfolio reference assigned activities
  • Streamline communication and visibility into references team results
  • Follow a common strategy and align with corporate product priorities
  • Work with product stakeholders to secure pipeline of reference nominations
  • Coordinate customers engagement in reference activities
  • Manage the references portfolio workload and delegate/involve appropriate groups to projects based on roles and responsibilities
  • Supervise progress of ongoing projects, balance resources, and escalate issues when identified
  • Understand the portfolio/product/industry sales business model and be able to turn requests from internal customers into reports / solutions that meet their needs
  • Establish processes for ongoing activities to follow Corporate Priorities
  • Supervise the Reference collateral (ie. Snapshots, case studies, videos, etc.) development on his/her Reference portfolio
  • Build and maintain relationship with portfolio stakeholders
  • Drive, implement and communicate reference processes
  • Manage the satisfaction of key stakeholders including diverse sales and marketing communities
  • Provide reporting on outcome of each of the above sales/marketing activities (Reference Usage) for stakeholders and management
  • Track and report on reference status and  activities
  • Maintain a database of accurate information on reference customers through portfolio trackers
  • Follow internal processes, utilize, maintain and update internal official tools
  • Offer consultancy to support global activities with portfolio references when appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS\:
  • Good analytical / problem solving skills in order to determine requirements for reference target, recruitment or fulfillment
  • Good communications skills to relate relevant information to portfolio stakeholders and internal reference managers
  • Previous experience in product management,  account management/ sales support would be a plus

  • Result orientated and able to drive initiative, prioritize assignments, and maintain focus on goals
  • Strong personal drive with a keen sense of urgency, motivation, and tenacity in achieving results
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to fulfill the responsibilities for the assigned product, industry or solution
  • Strong computer skills to navigate across multiple Oracle systems and tools
  • Strong focus on internal customers by showing capability to interpret and to match the internal customer's needs to the capabilities of the reference fulfillment
  • Interest in building and maintaining relationships with internal customers
  • Very good team worker
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Able to work late evening  and early morning  hours to accommodate requirements of global operations
 
!|!Responsible for driving the customer marketing strategy by defining, building and executing programs that deliver a steady stream of well-targeted customer reference assets and activities to support awareness, demand generation, and sales as well as connecting them with the right advisory initiatives and inviting and connecting them with the appropriate peer groups.

Follow a detailed plan that delivers a steady stream of customer success stories and references to support awareness, demand generation and sales cycles. Advocate on behalf of Oracle by connecting and enrolling them in appropriate advocate program elements and take a team-based approach to keeping customers engaged with Oracle. Match sales reference requests to appropriate references. The success of this role means higher customer satisfaction, retention and expansion of Oracle business. Acquire knowledge of our customer base, existing customer story content, mine and use that content to increase its effectiveness. Understand and support the needs of internal and external stakeholders, and communicate their needs. Connect them with the right advisory initiatives and invite and connect them with the appropriate peer groups. Motivate customers to speak to press and analysts, take sales reference calls, and participate in marketing activities (case studies, awards, videos, reference forums, speaking opportunities, etc.)

Job duties are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2 years related experience. Sales and Marketing experience in the IT industry. E-business Internet practical know-how.
