Program Manager will be responsible for managing cloud programs in a dynamic and fast paced business environment. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of overall experience in IT industry in product/software development with at least 8+ years as program or senior project manager. Oracle Program Managers are the integration point for Oracle Development and Cloud teams. They manage multiple, cross-functional projects, dependencies, issues/risks and conflicts to successful completion. Candidates should have proven technical aptitude and a willingness to learn about Aconex products in the global commercial construction business. Oracle Program Managers are required to be self-motivated, technical minded individual with a passion for getting things done. They should be able to demonstrate an ability to work in a dynamic environment with diverse personalities and have experience leading or participating in process engineering and team building efforts. The Program Manager must be able to drive project delivery while adapting to and managing dynamic business priorities and interfacing with other teams.
The Program Manager is Individual Contributor (IC) role and reports to the Senior Manager, Program Management.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and manage execution of project activities
- Comply with Oracle program management methodology
- Create iteration work plans with input from business and development managers
- Collaborate with program management, Product Managers and Engineering leads (Development, QA, IT) to validate that planned work maps to application platform goals
- Work with business and technical leads to identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies
- Track work progress and create audience appropriate status reporting
- Maintain Agile board(s) and Jira cases to accurately reflect work status
- Facilitate coordination and collaboration between Development, Infrastructure, and QA to avoid operational bottlenecks or idle time for team members
- Facilitate lessons learned meetings and help technical and business managers execute on action items to improve project delivery related processes
- Drive on schedule project outcomes by focusing on deliverables, identifying dependencies and obstacles, and taking ownership to manage and/or clear them
- Work with the Development and Business managers along with Program Management to manage stakeholder and senior leadership expectations
Qualification: Business, IT or Engineering Degree or equivalent work experience

- Able to engage and communicate calmly and professionally with project team members and peers and lead using influence rather than authority
- Solid written and verbal skills

- Intermediate or higher-level skills in project management tools MS Project or primavera
Pluses:
- PMP or other Project Management industry certification
- Confluence-Jira integration and report creation experience
- Certified Scrum Master or other agile certification
Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
