Job Description

The Oracle Sales and Partner Academy (OSPA) is responsible for enablement of the global Oracle sales community.  The EMEA OD Program Services team ensures a smooth, repeatable process that enables our facilitators to deliver successful training events for the Oracle Digital organization in the EMEA region.  We are currently looking for a highly skilled self-starter to join the team.

 

The role will report into the Program Services manager and the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent and conducive learner environments for sales professionals by managing facility and vendor sourcing, procurement processing, attendee management, program communications, scheduling, and staffing. 

 

Job duties are varied and require independent judgment.  Duties include, but are not limited to, the following. 

 
Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality, responsive support to the EMEA OSPA team and the EMEA OD sales community
  • Enable the smooth and efficient processing and management of training programs as they progress through the stages of planning, execution, and wrap-up
  • Proactively screen events for roadblocks and track progress
  • Assist in the escalation of critical issues
  • Purchase Order Management
  • Internal Tool Management and maintenance
  • Integrate with the EMEA OSPA team to gain understanding of business priorities and challenges
  • Work together with other Program Services team members to ensure coordination
  • Meet team key performance indicators and targets
  • Communicate metrics to management
  • Undertake admin responsibilities as needed
  • Undertake other projects as required

Desired Experience
 
  • Oracle experience and/or working with Oracle systems is a plus
  • Bachelors or equivalent years of professional experience preferred
  • Experience coordinating training programs or planning and managing events

!|!Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization*s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. Relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 2 plus years relevant work experience.
