Job Description
Construction of the finished product incorporating appropriate techniques and responding to quality initiatives.

Responsible for planning and implementing activities related to the management of Oracle's manufacturing suppliers. Manage supplier activities in the areas of material purchase, material control, inventory control, and shipping/receiving. Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems. Ensures materials are ordered and in stock to meet internal needs. Maintains acceptable inventory levels. Manages the supplier relationship to meet performance indicators. Develops material schedules and coordinates the efficient movement of materials. Coordinates contract implementation with Oracle Legal. Supports planning, procurement, and distribution activities.

Coordinates the daily activities of a work group, setting priorities to ensure task completion. Provides technical/functional leadership as well as first line supervision, but does not have hire/fire authority. Experience in manufacturing desirable.
