Job Description

Know Our Team 

The Provisioning Center of Excellence team is responsible for ensuring that our Oracle Cloud customers get the services they purchase, meeting their needs and requirements.

We own and take care of all the provisioning requests, by making use of different standard and custom platforms to monitor these transactions, as well as triaging and owning the resolution of any problem that occurs. We collaborate with business and sales teams to understand the customer requirements and provide a proper solution, as well as engaging different operations and development teams to overcome technical challenges. We are also responsible for performing root cause analysis and collaborating with the different products owners to provide feedback to enhance our overall provisioning process and provide better customer experience.

 

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor degree on IT/Tech related areas
  • Excellent verbal and written english communication skills
  • You like to solve complex technical problems, using your creativity and technical skills to find a solution
  • Dedicated team player with a willingness to share/receive experiences with others
  •  Able to communicate on an appropriate language level with external technical and non-technical teams
  • Willing to engage end user customers to enhance their onboarding experience with Oracle

Preferred qualifications

  •  At least 4 years of experience working on an L1/L2 support role, using ticketing systems such as RightNow, ServiceNow, FreshDesk, etc
  • Knowledge on SQL/PL-SQL with Oracle, MySQL or other DBMS.
  • Experience with Oracle APEX is a big plus, but not limited 
  • Experience with automation scripts on Bash/PowerShell.
  • Performing data analysis to recognize incident trends and perform root cause analysis
  • Previous experience with cloud providers such as Oracle OCI, AWS or Azure is a big plus

OTA-LAD-GEEK-MX

Work with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure.

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the design, development, modifications, debugging, and evaluation of programs for use in internal systems within a specific function area.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
