Senior Oracle E-Business Suite Admin/DBA

 

Must Have\:

·       Oracle Apps DBA with expertise and working knowledge on R12 / 11i environment.

·       Knowledge of Database (12g/11g/) Administration, RAC, ASM, High availability architecture

·       Experience in both Production Support and implementations.

·       Solid Troubleshooting skills and ability to handle technical escalations

·       Have worked on upgrades, cloning, migrations and go-live support.

·       Experience with monitoring, tuning, administering backups, refreshes and non-production clones.

·       Understanding of ITIL Processes

·       Must have hands-on experience with large customer base and heterogeneous environments.

·       Good exposure to high end infrastructure including Oracle Solaris/HP Unix, Linux, exposure to NFS, SAN/NAS architectures.

   

Responsible for Oracle Applications 11i/R12 Support, Incident management and maintenance activities like upgrades, cloning, monitoring and tuning the operating environment, coordinating/executing code migrations, troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions and patching

 

We are looking for individuals who have excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical discussions to non-technical persons. They should be able to effectively analyze problems, so good troubleshooting skills are  paramount.

 

Experience/Knowledge of the following is optional but will have added advantage\:

1. Solid Exposure to Oracle Performance tuning concepts.

2. Oracle Database 12c/11g, Dataguard, OEM RAC and Experience on FMW, OID, SSO.

3. Oracle Golden Gate Exposure.

3. Oracle Database backup and recovery using RMAN, datapump.

4. Exposure to third party integrated products (Hyperion/OBIEE/HFM/SOA/Vertex etc.) is an advantage.

5. Devops capabilities around automation - scripting, orchestration and devops tools ( Python etc)

 

!|!Work with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure.

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.!|!
