We're looking for a talented Cloud Oracle DBA. We're after curious mind, good interpersonal skills, and excellent technical skills in the area of Cloud DBA admin, a good set of OS/network/EM/automation (Doker/Ansible/Puppet, etc..) skills is an added advantage.
We're after someone who can troubleshoot, apply changes, fix DB related problems, think at scale. You should know how Database is built, what's its memory setup, how processes are interlinked, how to patch it, where to look for errors, what are key activities you need to perform. You should also think at scale, how to manage hundreds of DBs, mission critical systems. Your curious mind and willingness to learn will help a lot. This is a hand-on job.
As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
