Oracle Manufacturing and Distribution (M&D) is responsible for distribution of network and desktop hardware, software and marketing material to Oracle’s internal and external customers worldwide. M&D's mission is to continually deliver high-quality products, services and interactions, on time, to our customers.

The Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for Global project management for M&D New Hire Laptop Program. He will support operations projects, functions and processes for M&D and implement global projects to meet specific targeted initiatives. Create KPIs, analyzes the data, provide ideas for efficiency, process improvement, and cost savings. Ensure and assist team to complete all daily requests to meet customer’s target dates, work with several departments and manage projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, project implementation for global locations to support Day1 employees on boarding experience. Install and verify technical configurations (OBI) for Development, Global IT, NetSuites, OCI and all other standard laptops. Provide data analysis, daily status and reports to management, IT and Development team for reviews as well as work with IT engineers to improve M&D processes and troubleshoot daily issues. Manage and schedule meetings, take meeting minutes and send to management. Work with Oracle IT to improve M&D processes and to troubleshoot the daily issues. Review and update procedures to ensure accuracy to meet business requirements. Identify areas for process improvement, cost savings, and collaborate with associates to improve efficiency, productivity and processes. Train team members with processes, set professionalism example and share knowledge for team development. Communicate to management team regularly operational status and provide strategic insights on performance trends as well as recommendations on how to exceed plan and accelerate productivity and growth.
 
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
•    BA/BS degree.
•    Knowledge of Oracle desktop support, laptop OBI Builds.
•    Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
•    Good computer and technical skills; quick to learn new tools applicable to the role.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Demonstrate critical thinking and process improvement skills.
•    Strong customer services skills with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
•    Exhibits strong organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-through.
•    Ability to lift, drive M&D vehicles, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
!|!Performs non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery.

Develops project plans and coordinates cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Prefer 2 years of project management or related experience.
