Job Description
Title\:  Project Manager, Oracle Volunteering ad Giving
Location\:  Redwood City, CA or willing to relocate to the area
 

Oracle’s Corporate Citizenship team seeks an Operations Associate to support and advance the Oracle Giving and Oracle Volunteering programs, helping Oracle and its employees to be good citizens of the world.

In this role, you will\:
  • Support employee engagement in the global Oracle Volunteering and Oracle Giving programs, promoting the company’s three philanthropic focus areas\: advancing education, protecting the environment, and strengthening communities
  • Provide operational support Oracle Volunteering and MyGiving (matching gifts program), including due diligence on nonprofits, approval of volunteering projects and matching gift requests, and generation of reports on volunteering and giving.
  • Design engaging Oracle Volunteering opportunities with nonprofit organizations, including Oracle Giving grantees, and see them through
  • Champion employee volunteering and giving, and communicate with various internal and external stakeholders using multiple email queues
  • Coordinate sponsorship of philanthropic special events, including management of sponsorship payments, invitations, RSVPs, and other deliverables
  • Assist with the preparation of Oracle Giving’s annual global grant portfolio, as well as grant disbursement and tracking
  • Support the overall goals and objectives of the Oracle Corporate Citizenship Team.
 
Requirements\:
  • Bachelor’s degree minimum.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Operations, CSR, a related field, nonprofit practice, or a combination.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Superb detail orientation as well as vision.
  • Strong ability to recognize and meet internal and external stakeholders' needs.
  • Excellent critical thinking, research, assessment, and presentation skills.
  • The ability to represent Oracle Corporate Citizenship with passion and professionalism.

Develops project plans and coordinates cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Prefer 2 years of project management or related experience.
