Job Description
Responsibility:
1. Complete microbiological testing on flavors and raw material samples following specifications.
2. Monitor plant Environment Sampling Program (including allergen/air/water testing)
3. Support microbial samples needed for testing by external lab.
4. Assist with the investigation of internal and external microbiological non conformances
5. Provide microbiological expertise to internal and external clients.
6. Evaluate new micro biological testing methods and train to quality team.
7. Support training and implementation of Food Safety Best Practices in the plant
8. Other work related duties assigned by the microbiologist.
Essential
1. Graduate of Bachelor of Science or above in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Biochemistry/Food Technology
2. At least 1 years in food industry related to microbiological experience.
3. Ability to develop microbiological methods.
4. Experience with lab supervision, GMP and HACCP.
5. Skill of Microsoft Excel, Access and Statistical Analysis.
6. Good communication skills.
Preferred
1. QC related experience to microbiological in food industry.
2. Extensive SAP experience.
3. Good understand of GLP.
4. Communication in English, especially good reading and written skills.
