RESPONSIBILITIES

• To maintain a neat and organized receiving area that allows for the efficient transfer of goods from the receiving dock into the hotels operation
• Primary responsibilities include physical inspection of exterior of goods for damage, receipt of goods and verification of goods against packing slip/invoice and against PO, goods promptly removed from receiving into storage, receiving and closing of purchase orders.
• Maintains a close working relationship with the stores, purchasing and accounting offices
• Ensure all hotel and departmental policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
• Maintains a high level of professionalism in all aspects of job performance
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Receiver or Accounts Payable clerk
• Ability to multi task within strict deadlines while displaying attention to detail
• Demonstrated a high level of responsibility and commitment
• Demonstrated knowledge and commitment of safe working procedures
• Demonstrated excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in Excel, Email and Accounting or Receiving systems
• Completely fluent in the English language skills both written and verbal
• Impeccable grooming and presentation
• Team player with proven success in relationship building
• Proven history of working well with minimum supervision
• Committed to providing excellent service and exceeding guests expectations
• Food & beverage product knowledge
• Must be bondable

The position of Receiver is physically demanding.  The successful applicant must be physically capable of performing repetitive work, as well as lifting and carrying heavy loads.
