GCA Reefer Vertical team is a highly integrated & dedicated sales team to serve Pan-China reefer clients for both import and export business. We have team members located in Dalian/Tianjin/Qingdao/Shanghai/Xiamen/Shenzhen to have a wide geographical coverage. To cope with fast market growth, we decide to hire one more reefer specialist to enhance our sales force. She/he will be responsible for further enlarging our market share in undiscovered territories, both geographically and commodity wise. This will provide you with the expert knowledge needed to excel in the role and for further career development.

Key responsibilities

  • Look after GCA import fruits industry by actively engage overseas colleagues to drive Ocean Non-control volume
  • Build up and Explore Cold Chain opportunities in GCA fruits import industry
  • Defend existing reefer customers/Expand our share of wallet from growing reefer clients/Target new business from new territories
  • Develop strong sales pipeline to deliver SIP target in both volume and revenue
  • Work closely with the whole GCA Reefer team and support each other in daily work
  • Update market intelligence timely and precisely to REV on weekly basis
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders like CUS/OPS and overseas partners to provide first-class service to further increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Maintain Sales Minimum Standards: 10 Sales Calls per week with 60% being Face to Face Sales Calls with clear Objective, Agenda, PSM, and Confirmation letter for each.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years sales background in shipping/logistics industry
  • Solid container shipping knowledge, preferable in reefer segment and Cold Chain background is preferred
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Excellent interpersonal & negotiation skills
