We are looking for a talented, self-directed candidate to develop Cloud sales with companies that have technology-oriented solutions as their core business portfolio and to progress them where appropriate to Oracle partnership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Digital Native business developer, you will be responsible for execution of Oracle Cloud strategy with mid-enterprise companies that have technology-oriented cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with Oracle sales and technical teams to identify, qualify and maximize Cloud business with companies offering technology-oriented solutions.

You will engage with companies

  • who currently run technology-oriented solutions on Oracle competitor’s Cloud
  • who are modernizing on-premise solutions with Oracle Cloud
  • who are already on Oracle Cloud and are growing the benefits of cloud model

You will need to demonstrate the value of the Oracle Cloud by articulating it’s benefit from business portfolio perspective and contribution to company business performance, to orchestrate the adoption of Oracle Cloud and progress them where appropriate to Oracle partnership.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-6 years sales experience in the IT industry or vertical market
  • 2-3 years experiences in Channels & Alliances / Partner Development or Partner Management experience, ideally working with ISVs and Cloud Solution Providers
  • Strong sales/marketing skills including needs analysis, business justification, and closing methodologies
  • Negotiating skills and ability to influence.
  • Able to learn and understand product solutions and features
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle’s Cloud portfolio, ideally some knowledge about competitive cloud offerings; 2-3 years in a technical role is a strong advantage
  • Ability to understand customer's industry and core business processes
  • Self-Starter, result focused, self-motivated, track record of quota achievement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • University degree, fluent English, willing to travel

Increasing Oracle Cloud consumption through companies offering technology-oriented solutions is a critical success factor of Oracle’s go to market strategy and this is what the Digital Native business developer will be responsible for.

As a leader and trusted advisor in Digital Transformation, you will be exposed to the most compelling and innovative technology-oriented solution providers, driving their transformation journey.

Builds long term, strategic relationships with named and vertical business alliance partners.

Facilitates the development of strategic marketing and new business plans for all assigned partners to meet or exceed assigned business goals. Works with Partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies. Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts to leverage corporate initiatives and to ensure adherence to Alliances and Channel standards. Monitor partners business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase penetration for the strategic partners. Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Demonstrated track record developing and managing Global Partnerships and driving Partner account activity. Prefer strong analytical, sales channel and marketing skills. Prefer 8 years of related experience with a secondary education in Marketing or a related field.
