Your Role and Responsibilities

AIOps aims to apply AI techniques (including ML, DL, NLP, and advanced statistics) to mine actionable insights from huge volume machine generated data (e.g. logs, events, configurations, metrics, system changes) and service management data (e.g. ticket, event, change requests, fixing scripts, FAQ, forum posts, emails) within large-scale highly distributed environments (e.g. Cloud, internet/enterprise applications) in order to facilitate proactive anomaly detection and faster troubleshooting towards an intelligent cloud operations. The research scientist is responsible for the research topic exploratory, problem identification, development, evaluation, and delivery. The major responsibility are:

• research on innovative DL+ML+NLP models and algorithms for anomaly detection & root cause analysis by correlating the multi-type of operations data including time-series, logs, events, system traces, and etc.
• training of normal or abnormal patterns/models and remediation actions with AI techniques
• analysis of unstructured services management data to generate knowledge for automatic problem determination and self-healing
• development of AIOps platform and analytics services for large-scale cloud and distributed systems

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
A candidate with Ph.D. or Master degree, majored in computer science or related areas with the following skills or background:

• Deep understanding and strong hands-on experiences on AI algorithms
• High quality publications on top AI/Cloud/Distribution System conferences & journals
• Strong Hands-on experience on building software systems with python and learning packages e.g. sklearn, tensorflow, nltk
• Hands-on experience on large-scale cloud and big data systems is a plus
• Creative, independent and Self-motivated.
• Good Chinese and English communication skill.
• Team collaboration
