RESPONSIBILITIES

- Monitor and change inventory parameters through MFR

- Build rate codes, package elements in both MFR & PMS, as per group requirements

- Assist conference services managers by regularly advising group pick-up

- Create and distribute accurate reports as directed by the Revenue/Reservations Managers

• Sox reports daily or as required
• Group wash spreadsheet
• Other reports as requested

- Create and maintain group blocks in our PMS and CRS

- Ensure regular communication with Sales and Catering

- Ensure regular communications with Group conveners as required

- Lead Group Revmax meetings to review group details

- Create guest reservations via telephone and e-mail

- Enter Group rooming lists as required

- Process group pre-payments as required

- Manage Passkey information as required

- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

- Impeccable grooming and presentation

- Strong literacy in Opera Property Manager an asset

- Strong report making abilities in Excel

- Demonstrated a high level of responsibility and commitment

- Demonstrated attention to detail and numerical aptitude

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Proven ability to work within timelines and ability to multitask effectively

- Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills

- Must be web savvy and able to demonstrate this when working within a web based environment

- Demonstrated team player with proven success in relationship building

- Minimum 1-year experience in a hotel of comparable quality and size

- Previous experience in dealing with convention planners, travel agents and group facilitators an asset

- Previous experience in managing group blocks an asset

- Must be highly Health and Safety conscious and actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment
