Job Description

Amazon is developing infrastructure aggressively to support this growth around the world, particularly in the booming cross border selling area. In this context, Amazon’s China Global Selling team currently seeks a creative, dynamic and motivated Audit/Risk Management/Controls Specialist in its China headquarters, based in Shanghai. You will be a key member of the China Global Selling Team and provide support to sales and business operations. You will be responsible for data processing and analyzing relevant business data. The ideal candidate is a seasoned IT professional with experience working on projects for data access, audit, risk management, and reporting. Preference for candidates with experience working with Sales or Marketing business partners.
S/he will have a track record of success at driving results, partnering cross functionally, and leading efforts to implement Risk Management Programs, leading risk assessments, and partnering with the business to improve controls. This will be a challenging position, especially because it is a new role and the candidate will be developing programs from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in this field and will their past experience to this role.

Key job responsibilities
This job focuses on how to protect Amazon internal data. Key job responsibilities include but not limited to: 1) Design and implement mechanism to protect Amazon internal data by setting data access tenets; 2) Deep dive into Amazon data infrastructure and implement our data access tenets; 3) Proactively identify Amazon tool remediation areas; 4) Understand end-to-end biz process and identify potential risks associated with employee behavior.

About the team
Risk & Control Management (RCM) team is expected to raise the bar and drive consistent SOPs in terms of access control & management across AGS to keep “role based and “minimum-authorization based” access standards. RCM targets to be the gate keeper of key operational risk and the owner of risk and control metrics by working closely with CN AGS stakeholders and global teams. We identify, develop, implement and sustain Risk & Controls metrics in the following areas: 1) Access Control. Sensitive access to key business systems and data is properly controlled, reviewed and monitored. 2) Application Control. Key application level controls are identified and properly enforced in a preventative way. 3) Investigation. Violation to compliance rules is identified and investigated (usually by partner teams) and RCM drives root cause analysis and then work with appropriate partners to identify mitigation controls or other application controls. 4) Monitoring. RCM team will pro-actively run pre-designed reports to identify potential violations. Findings and remediation will be continuously communicated and reported with SLT as appropriate. 5) Collaboration. RCM team will collaborate with global team when appropriate to implement the designed access controls and application controls.
