Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM Global Business Services (GBS) Poland is a team of business, strategy, and technology consultants, specialized in digital business transformation enabling enterprises to make smarter decisions and providing unparalleled client and consumer experiences in cognitive, data analytics, cloud technology and mobile application development.

You will be responsible for:

• Demonstrated broad understanding of SAP solutions and processes
• Provide SAP technical/architecture guidance to project teams in support of solution design and development of the SAP environment
• Lead development of conceptual and architectural solution blueprints to meet business requirements while ensuring compliance with established architectural principles and standards
• Support of the deal solutioning during pre-sales / sales activites
• Ability to take a role of Project Manager / Integration Manager in multinational projects

 

Introduction

As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business  and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms.  You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Comprehensive SAP product knowledge (ECC, MDG, SRM, SCM, CRM, PI, BI, SAP Solution Manager, SAP HANA - Basis aspects)
• Experience working directly with business, other IT users subcontractors
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA installation, OS/DB migration (in particular to HANA DB) and administration.
• 8+ years experience in SAP environment

• Ability to articulate the specific industry challenges
• Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to overcome day-to-day issues in pursuit of the end goal
• First-class communication skills – an ability to engage persuasively with senior stakeholders both inside IBM and with clients
• The ability and confidence to work independently with clients and other stakeholders
