What are my responsibilities?
- Factory responsible for production order execution to meet the contract delivery time, cost control and quality result.
- Factory responsible for the work result and performance of the Order Management, Planning and Scheduling, Material Management, Production and Assembly, Quality Control, Logistics and Warehouse, After Sales Service, EHS, etc.
- Lead SPS/ME team members and their individual work teams to determine projects to remove waste from the value chain, support in the implementation, and measurement of the remedial activities, providing consultancy in problem solving.
- Identify and monitor centrally individual improvement projects throughout the value chain, reporting variances, and results on a regular basis to operations management
- Create and drive CIP culture within the local organizations, identifying training needs, support activities, facilitating a bottom up as well as top down improvement culture. The culture should strive for sustainability in the improvement.
- Ensure that local laws & Siemens Business Conduct guidelines including compliance, import/export regulations, local government regulations, etc. are complied with. Support audit if required.
- Support CoC and other concerned department, introduce SPS and lean concept, drive Kaizen (CIP) to the business chain
- Accompany and support on request the complete SCM process in terms of understanding the requirements of planned product mix for the new financial year, the respective market / customer / product specific requirements and full support for the after sales
- If requested support and contribute to the overall strategic and financial planning process. Reflect the financial planning targets / measures in the SCM process to achieve overall financial goals
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- At least 5 years’ experience in production and/or manufacturing related activities, including logistics, procurement, manufacturing, testing etc;
- Management of cross functional, multi-disciplinary teams in Manufacturing environment.
- Management experience leading a cross functional team consisting of engineering, manufacturing, logistics, materials management, quality control, etc functions.
- Experience in leading cross functional teams. Fluent in regional local / dominant language.
