About Us
Oracle Applications Labs (OAL) is responsible for implementing and supporting Oracle's application solutions to run its business. The Customer Data Management (CDM) team manages and delivers key initiatives on Master Data Management, Data Quality Management, Data Integrations, Data Services & Governance for Fusion Cloud Customer Data. We work collaboratively with integration teams to synchronize Customer Data across Oracle's production environments and provide guidance to OAL DevOps for support data issues. We work very closely with both Finance and Sales Business teams in support of their supporting operations. We integrate Oracle's latest generation of applications; current projects include implementing Fusion applications at Oracle, replicating data, and building custom solutions on PaaS.
About the job
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team in Guadalajara. You will need to relocate to Guadalajara once the offices open again.
You will work on the OAL CDM team developing and supporting the customer data quality and integrations from initiation to delivery. You will collect business requirements and translate them into system requirements. Then you will work with team-mates across the globe to deliver the requirements to Finance and Sales Business teams and other integrations teams. You will develop data conversion and system implementation plans, lead projects and execute.
Qualifications
- BS or MS of MIS, Computer Science or related fields
- 3+ years of working experience with SQL for development or any similar Relational Databases (MySQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, etc).
- Experience with Oracle services is highly desirable.
- Must have strong software engineering design and development skills with a strong focus on quality, including translating requirements into solutions. Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills are required.
- Good understanding of application programming with Oracle relational databases is desirable.
- Must be able to work independently and collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.
- Must have good knowledge and understanding of Design Patterns and their use.
- Passionate and experienced in coaching and mentoring other engineers
- Experience working with Git, RESTful Web Services, and XML is required.
- Experience working with Java, JavaScript, CICD, Oracle Fusion Applications, EBS, or enterprise CRM applications is desirable.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
