Job Description

We are looking for a passionate, dynamic and proactive Sales Representative based in Suzhou, to grow volume, revenue and Maersk’s share of wallet by leveraging interactions with customers, reporting to SGH&YTZ E&A Sales Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Overall responsible for controlled BCO business development.
  • Create quality business plans to maintain and grow relationship within client portfolio.
  • Establish strategy and maintain relationships with clients as appropriate, championing their needs and driving teamwork within the sales and service delivery organization.
  • Build a good understanding of the assigned account base and identifying customer needs and providing value added solutions
•• Build Trade/Industry/logistic knowledge, increase sales competence, and facilitate knowledge flow between teams.
  • Conduct extensive market research, analyses and feedback the market information in a structured way.
  • Meet the Sales Minimum Standards through Sales Pipeline management and related measures.

We are looking for

  • A Bachelor's degree (ideally) with at least 3 years’ work experience in a sales role within the logistics, shipping or freight forwarding industries.(BCO sales background preferred)
  • Customer centric self-starter who is Proactive and has a value adding business mind-set.
  • Able to create quality business plans and proficient in persuasive selling.
  • A team player with excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills, as well as an ability to be both persuasive and influential.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, consistent and actively engages with stakeholders.
  • Results driven and capable of working under pressure while keeping sight of the bigger picture and E2E business processes.
  • With the ability to understand customer needs and offer mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry sales related tools.
  • Fluency in English
