As a SaaS Cloud Technologist - Oracle CX Cloud, you will work as a member of a pre-sales team to address business and technical questions for prospective clients and customers.  The majority of the work will be comprised of documenting responses to Customer Security Questionnaires, Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, and providing Oracle Policy documentation for Customer Opportunities.

Candidate will be expected to:

• Actively maintain in-depth technical Oracle product knowledge and Industry trends & technologies:
  • Oracle SaaS CX Clouds – architecture, hosting / operations, security, configuration, extensibility, integration, analytics
• Maintain awareness of relevant competitive Enterprise Applications products and technologies
• Understand the needs and pains of the customer as presented / documented in order to optimize responses
• Create and maintain relationships with internal customers and team members

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• 3-10 years’ experience in related field
• Technical experience selling, implementing, and/or using enterprise software, ideally in Cloud.
• Technical knowledge a plus, including but not limited to: Enterprise Applications (CRM, Quoting, Commerce, Marketing) Technologies, Security, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, REST, SOAP, WAF, SIEM, networking, Relational Database Technology, Object Oriented (OO) programming skills/understanding, Middleware Technologies, etc.
• Prefer background in Customer Experience (CX) applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; high fluency in English will be necessary
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Enthusiastic and confident

Ability to address key industry issues at multiple levels (C-Level to IT Managers)

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
