The Role - How you’ll make an impact\: Oracle University Sales Development Reps (SDRs) are a team of creative, quick-thinking and resourceful hunters looking for new opportunities to fuel the Oracle University sales pipeline. In this role, you will make meaningful relationships with Oracle University’s Education Sales Reps, along with current and potential Oracle University customers. As an SDR, you’ll be spearheading the outbound client acquisition and pipeline creation process, and in many cases will be the first point of contact for prospective new customers. The SDR team is a critical component of our sales model and presents an outstanding opportunity to hone one’s skills while building a strong foundation in preparation for an exciting and rewarding career with Oracle. Acts as the first contact for many prospects in Oracle business via inbound calls. Qualifies Oracle prospects and produces quality leads for the Oracle Sales Force. Performs database and record keeping activities.
5-8 years related experience. Able to demonstrate time management, basic telesales skills, and knowledge of Oracle products and services. Goal oriented individual with superior communication skills. Able to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts. Working knowledge of Oracle products preferred. Professional demeanor. Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role.
