The Role - How you’ll make an impact\:

Oracle University Sales Development Reps (SDRs) are a team of creative, quick-thinking and resourceful hunters looking for new opportunities to fuel the Oracle University sales pipeline. In this role, you will make meaningful relationships with Oracle University’s Education Sales Reps, along with current and potential Oracle University customers. As an SDR, you’ll be spearheading the outbound client acquisition and pipeline creation process, and in many cases will be the first point of contact for prospective new customers. 

The SDR team is a critical component of our sales model and presents an outstanding opportunity to hone one’s skills while building a strong foundation in preparation for an exciting and rewarding career with Oracle.

Responsibilities\:

Research accounts to identify key players and leverage Oracle University’s thought leadership to prepare content and messaging tailored to our ideal customer profile and personas 
Aggressively use phone, email and other sales and marketing tools to contact current and potential customers to generate interest in Oracle University’s solutions
Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives in target and prospect accounts
Uncover prospect’s business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities 
Expertly articulate the value of Oracle University’s solutions and overcome objections 
Accurately determine lead qualifications based upon established criteria to add new opportunities to the total pipeline 
Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly quotas of Sales Accepted Opportunities, Sales Accepted Pipeline and influenced Closed Won business for Oracle University
Manage, track and record on all sales activities in CRM;  leverage the tools and technologies that will be available to you to help you succeed at Oracle
Evangelize Oracle University’s Solution Stack leveraging your mastery of digital/social selling techniques 
Collaborate with management on meeting Oracle University goals and targets 

 We are looking for\:

Excellent oral and written skills in English

A high degree of coach-ability; attentive listening skills 
Prospecting experience 
CRM experience and CRM hygiene 
Excellent written/verbal communications skills 
Strong problem-solving skills
A highly motivated driven and self-starting individual with a positive attitude 
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
Four-year University degree. Computer Science, business or technical degree, or equivalent experience 
Two years of proven sales development, lead generation and/or sales experience in a B2B tech environment selling software solutions or services

!|!First contact for prospects of Oracle business via inbound calls. Qualifies Oracle prospects and produces quality leads for the Oracle Sales Force.

Acts as the first contact for many prospects in Oracle business via inbound calls. Qualifies Oracle prospects and produces quality leads for the Oracle Sales Force. Performs database and record keeping activities.

5-8 years related experience. Able to demonstrate time management, basic telesales skills, and knowledge of Oracle products and services. Goal oriented individual with superior communication skills. Able to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts. Working knowledge of Oracle products preferred. Professional demeanor. Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role.
