Responsible for driving sales effectiveness through development and execution of clearly articulated communication and training plans, content/sales messaging, processes and tools to enable the overall sales productivity of the sales team in achieving Oracle's short term and long term revenue goals. Responsible for messaging, value proposition, market and customer analysis, thought leadership and product evangelism for product line(s). Provides business support on our most strategic deals, including helping to prep and lead client pitches, workshops, and oral RFP presentations, as well as developing business cases, prices, and proposals. Measure, analyze and recommend improvements to sales effectiveness strategies and tools. Develop reporting best practices that provide improved business insights into marketing spend performance, opportunity, velocity, etc. Manage the sales activities within the context of the overall corporate plan to meet objectives. Monitor the development of business plans and business results and adjust as needed. Develop and monitor field sales plays and integrated campaigns. Define and create GTM content for sales including use cases, detailed personas, key themes, customer lifecycle messaging, differentiated value propositions and ROI, field communications and sales effectiveness readiness in partnership with other product marketing managers, product management and field sales teams. Design, develop and deploy tools, processes and collateral to help sales understand Oracle versus competitor’s offerings. Responsible for sales effectiveness, including training, certifications, boot camps, in-days, and summits for the salesforce. Develop and deliver presentations about Oracle’s differentiated strategy and offerings to customers in-person as well as remotely. Partner with the Sales Managers in implementing the right mix of marketing levers for the segment, including account analytics and opportunity identification. Align closely with Sales Leadership, gaining full support of programs and processes in achieving revenue goals, both long and short term. Solicit feedback from regional field marketers on how marketing programs are landing in the field. Collaborate between sales and marketing to continuously improve processes, tool, strategies to maintain and improve Oracle's competitive advantage in the market. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Manage lifecycles and product positioning in the market. Drive product functionality by delivering high quality product documentation. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
