Job Description

Summary:

As a member of the APAC Sales Operations team, the Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting the sales team on a daily basis to ensure compliance with organizational standards and protocols.

The main responsibility will be to support APAC Sales team whilst being part of the APAC Operations team.

The successful candidate should be very detail-oriented, autonomous and a self-starter as well as have excellent communication skills, and demonstrate exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities:

The Analyst in this role will support the following activities, along with ad hoc projects:

· Provide Sales Policy guidance to sales team.

· Assist guidance on quotes and orders for complex deals.

- Provide Sales Process, contract, approval guidance, credit approval, collection, fundng and collection.

· Provide reports and analysis to sales management (pipeline reporting, lead reporting, forecast etc…).

· Review and Guide sales on the contracts submission and creation within defined guidelines.

· Guide on the overall Deal Registration process, including reviewing documents, approvals levels, sales team contributions, product mix where required.

· Supports si-dv Dashboards and sales analytics tools.

· Provide month/quarter/year end reports to management and regions.

· Collaborate with other business partners and departments such as Finance, Contract Management, Marketing & Product Management.

 

Qualifications/Skills:

· 3-5+ years of experience supporting sales, preferably in the software industry.

· Fluent in English and any second language preferred.

· Good understanding of revenue recognition for software companies as well as recurring revenue.

· Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.

· Proactive in problem solving with high level of critical thinking skills.

· Enjoy working in an intense Sales environment with challenging priorities.

· Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels.

· Background in technology and cloud-based software preferred.

· Existing Oracle product knowledge and hands on product experience a plus.

Support APAC Sales Business Operations team to improve sales process. Performs budgeting, planning, and analysis activities for sales operations.  Reviews capital expenditures and analyzes sales-related expenses associated with such things as the order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales productivity and goal attainment.

Independent and proactive.

In the future, there is a need to perform Sales onboarding and coach sales team. Coordination and creation of the training material and provide regular training to apac sales team.

Performs budgeting, planning, and analysis activities for sales operations.

Performs budgeting, planning, and analysis activities for sales operations. Reviews capital expenditures and analyzes sales-related expenses associated with such things as the order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales productivity and goal attainment. Performs regular variance analysis for expenses and budgets. Evaluates pricing structures to ensure fit with company objectives. Effectively incorporates client delivery schedules and operational changes into future revenue forecasts and revenue timeline considerations. Maintains and enhances sales force automation systems, product/service costing models, and margin management tools/systems to effectively monitor and manage revenue/expenses. May develop sales quote tools.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree preferred.
