Oracle seeks Sales Person for its MySQL
Global Business Unit to cover sales territories of Thailand, Philippines,
Vietnam and other IndoChina countries, to focus on developing the existing customers
in addition to winning new logo’s for our product. MySQL is one of the fastest
growing businesses within Oracle. MySQL is one of the
most deployed databases in the world and used in software companies of all
sizes. This role will focus on selling
to existing and new accounts and will focus on selling to companies of all
sizes. We have a solid technology, pricing,
and go-to-market model which makes this role challenging and fun
RESPONSIBILITIES\:
- Personally engage (own the relationship)
with key customers through each stage of the opportunity lifecycle – from
generation to closure.
- Create and jointly execute account plans
for top customers accounts.
- Develop an overall plan to over-achieve
quota.
- Regular joint business reviews with
partners and internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with our Channel & Inside sales
teams to facilitate opportunity alignment and joint selling between
channel partners and Inside sales team.
- Ensure cross-Oracle LOBs engagement and other
segment leaders to ensure alignment.
- Grow customers mind share with Enterprise or other paid
subscription licenses of MySQL, in addition to driving a deep engagement
with customers through our technical Sales Consulting Organization.
- Foster a community within your customer
base to Increase loyalty, activation and adoption of MySQL working in
tandem with other organizations of MySQL
- Demonstrate
a thorough knowledge of BFSI and/or TELCO or PUBLIC segment as end users
and how MySQL can fit into those segments with use case scenarios.
Leverage existing relationships with customers in these segments to drive
increased sales.
- Provide accurate and timely management
information and revenue forecasts.
- Manage transaction contracts, business
practices, and deal booking issues.
- Leading contributor individually and
as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is
non-routine and complex, involving the application of technical & business
skills in area of specialization.
QUALIFICATIONS\:
- 2-5 years experience in the IT industry or
vertical market with a university
degree
- Experience dealing with resellers and
distributors.
- Self-Starter, fluent in written and spoken Thai
and English with good organizational skills
- Track record of achievement of quota and
willingness to travel.
- Able to learn and understand product
solutions and features.
- Strong sales/marketing skills
including needs analysis, business justification, and closing
methodologies.
- Negotiating skills and ability to
influence. Present strategy of Oracle & MySQL @ CXO level
- Ability to understand customer's industry
and core business processes
- Strong needs analysis, positioning,
business justification and closing skills
- Effective sales, marketing and project
management skills
- Ability to work in a team
environment
!|!Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to small-and-medium sized accounts. The role is a combination of a Field Sales Rep and Inside Sales Rep.
Works to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory. Territory may be combination of geographic, product, industry and other customer / market dimensions. Sells to the territory directly or via partners. The territory that this rep covers does not have an Inside Sales Rep or Field Rep. Utilizes inbound and/or outbound techniques to identify, qualify and close new opportunities. Manages accounts throughout the entire sales process, and collaborates with team members in business development, consulting and support to uncover all customer needs. Responsible for understanding Oracle's product offerings and competitive issues to develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Travels to customer sites to identify / develop sales opportunities. Participates in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition. Onsite customer presentation with C-levels to negotiate and close strategic and complex deals. Liaises with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities and maximizing sales.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have a project lead role. Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors. interaction with C level players. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills. Travels to customer as needed. 5 years relevant sales experience. BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred.!|!
