Job Description:
We are seeking an energetic outgoing individual to join the Operation Team in the CEGBU Business Unit. We are a small team with big responsibilities, supporting the sales team on all back-office processes, managing territories, and helping to unblock internal issues that our sales team might face. The successful candidate should have strong communications skills and the ability to work well with all functions within Oracle.

Oracle’s Construction and Engineering business unit is the leading provider of on-premise and cloud-based solutions. With more than $9T of project value being managed and more than $9B in subcontractor payments processed monthly, our customers rely of Oracle Construction and Engineering software to help them plan, build and operate their critical assets. This involves coordinating their teams and information to manage risk and improve performance across their processes, projects, and organizations.
Responsibilities:
Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization’s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.
- Supports the processing of the broad range of CEGBU deal transactions for our JAPAC and ANZ markets
- Supporting and assisting CEGBU Sales Team on Oracle Tools including Sales Cloud, CPQ, DAS, Q.
- One on one training for new hires in tools and processes.
- Ad hoc reporting to support sales management.
- Investigate and resolving invoicing issues related to subscription models.
- Being pro-active to create strong relationships with the Sales Reps and Managers in support of our revenue goals.
- Ad Hoc Territory and Account Management support throughout the year.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years’ experience working in Oracle.
- Good understanding of back-office processes is essential – Sales Cloud, CPQ, Q etc.
- Ability to work without direct day-to-day guidance and make sound independent decisions impacting operations.
- Takes action to resolve complaints and identifies need for corrective/preventative action.
- Proven capacity to create, maintain and develop lasting relationships with Sales.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Strong communication and presentations skill.
- Ability to work globally and build strong internal networks in support of our business goals.
Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. Relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 2 plus years relevant work experience.
