SUMMARY:

 

The Sales Transformation & Comms team is composed of professionals drawn from diverse fields of sales, business development, product marketing, public relations, communications, design, development, operations and strategy. Together, we drive programs that help our Japan & Asia Pacific business transform, advance and win. Programs vary from creating employee engagement platforms to telling customer stories, building applications, and delivering branding campaigns to drive behavior change. We’re looking for an exceptional communications professional to lead the internal and executive communications strategy for ANZ, INDIA & ASEAN. Working closely with regional leaders, you understand business priorities, build effective audience engagement strategies, and execute specific communications projects across a variety of mediums. Communications approaches must be innovative and impactful, to build engagement and alignment across lines of business.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop and drive communications strategy to transform and grow of business in ANZ, India & ASEAN
  • Work closely with the regional MDs to develop an executive program for them
  • Work closely with various leaders and influencers across the org to understand and translate business priorities
  • Define target audiences, objectives, and messages
  • Select effective tools, mediums, and technologies for message delivery
  • Act as program manager for all communications initiatives
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of initiatives
  • Identify best practice leadership programs, then up-level them and deliver across new regions

 

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

 

  • 9+ years' experience in sales programmes, business development or sales communications for a large cloud services business
  • Expert stakeholder management and strong track record of working directly with senior stakeholders in multiple APAC markets, such as Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Japan, New Zealand, South East Asia, Taiwan
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding project management with experience of operating in complex matrixed environments
  • Able to refine and improve creative ideas, then take into practical application
  • Natural influencer with the confidence to set expectations, deliver counsel at all levels and collaborate with any level to achieve goals
  • Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically & execute tactically
  • Driven, flexible, able to work in fast paced environment and to high standards
Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market. Manages a staff of managers.

As a manager in product marketing, you will be responsible for leading the development of company marketing specifications for specific product(s) or product line(s). Manage marketing activities within the context of the overall corporate plan to meet company objectives. Monitor the development of business plans and business results of e-marketing. Manage lifecycles and product positioning in the market place. Identify customer needs, oversee market research, and monitor the market trends/competitive landscape. Implement and monitor advertising campaigns. Act as a technical advisor for specific product(s). Initiate and foster relationships with development, sales, and other groups to develop new products or enhance functionality of existing product(s) or product line(s). Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Practical internet knowledge. Software business management experience. 4 years technical marketing experience. Previous development experience or developer marketing experience desired. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Successful track record in management. BA/BS degree. MBA a plus.
