NetSuite Engineering is looking for a hands-on Senior Automation and Tools Engineer. We desire to have Automation and Tools Engineers that have a wide range of abilities and skills and who are self-motivated to drive initiatives that solve software engineering operational challenges.  To be successful in this role, you will need experience coding automated tests in Java/JavaScript and Test Automation Framework design and deployment, experience in developing engineering operational tools to validate performance and scalability of SQL solutions, and experience with engineering analytics, metrics and reporting.  An ideal candidate is someone who can focus on details but who also sees the larger picture; someone who sees complexity and can simplify it and organize it; someone who is willing to learn to stay on the leading edge of software development processes; and someone who strives to influence efficiency on behalf of their team and department.

Responsibilities\:

• Develop and Maintain Automated Test Frameworks
• Build SQL Performance and Scalability testing tools
• Code automated tests using Java/JUnit and JavaScript
• Create and manage automated performance and scalability test suites
• Design, gather, analyze and report metrics for software development operational excellence
• Participate in Global Working Groups to research and deploy test and development tools
• Perform peer automated test code reviews and optimize test code execution
• Build Wiki and Web portals for centralize product team communication

Qualifications/Skills\:

• B.S.in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• 3 years test automation development experience; 2 years in object-oriented languages
• Automation Framework design and deployment experience
