• Develop new BIOS or new features, enhance security, and improve management and diagnosis capabilities for Oracle server products.
• Sustain server products. Co-work with Oracle global hardware，BIOS, QA, OS and service teams to root-cause and fix issues, test and deliver new BIOS releases.  
• On-call support issues reported from data centers or customers
• Support manufacturing and other engineering team by fixing issue, improve processes and efficiency.  
• Review hardware designs.

       
KEY REQUIREMENTS  

• Experienced in UEFI development and trouble-shooting. Experience with AMI Aptio code Architecture and Intel Xeon is a big plus.
• Have solid knowledge on uEFI BIOS, CPU, Memory, PCIe, storage, ACPI, RAS, USB and RAS.
• Have in-depth understanding on OS (Linux, Windows, virtualization), device driver, system management (BMC, IPMI) and systematic diagnostic methodology
• Have strong sense on development processes, delivery on schedule, high delivery quality.
• Be highly self-motivated in study and work
• Have good communication skills and cooperate well across teams 

       
YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE          

•         7 years or more.   

 

EDUCATION          

•         BS or MS

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
