The Role:
As a key part of the camera team, you will be driving camera IQ tuning activities in system level and the necessary supporting hardware calibration like AWB/LSC. You will be the owner of all aspects of camera tuning, including camera features and IQ spec definition, IQ tuning schedule control, code check-in, and final IQ performance validation. You will work closely with internal cross-functional team and outside partners to drive key IQ aspects to meet our KPIs. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
Develop core intellectual properties as well as implementations in imaging area such as image IQ tuning, AWB/LSC calibration, improvements on auto-exposure, auto-white balance, auto-focus. Involved in defining imaging platform and roadmap.
Responsibilities:
• Take own of camera IQ tuning to meet all KPIs, need a certain amount of on-site tuning.
• Work with SW platform team to define camera App features and submit tuning code.
• Support camera HW characterization in the lab and AWB/LSC calibration in the factory.
• Work with BSP team for new sensor driver integration in the device.
• Work with SOC and CM partners to identify all IQ related problems and provide solution, deliver the most competitive image quality before SW lockdown milestone.
• Evaluate imaging aspects of various ISP, sensor, optics and actuator solutions.
• Be involed in defining imaging platform solutions and product roadmaps.
The candidate needs to be a good communicator in both English and Mandarin, and needs to be an independent and highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills.
