Job Description

The consultant in this position has the main responsibility of implementing the Oracle Health Insurance (OHI) application(s) for our customers. The consultant possesses the required skills to lead the solution design (mapping of the OHI standard functionality to the customer use cases) and implementation aspects of the engagement(s) ensuring high quality within the constraints of time and budget.

Business analysis skills are needed to help ensure our OHI product solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. From the position of product and professional influence, this individual frequently operates at the leading edge of OHI products’ technology.

Prior OHI experience (functional and technical) is an advantage. The ability to travel is a requirement, to be with our customers onsite during the implementation project is essential and can be aligned / agreed upon for the duration of the project period. Our projects can be anywhere worldwide.

 

Professional skill requirements\:

-          Min. 3 years of work experience, preferably in (Health) Insurance domain

-          Excellent communication skills

-          Ability to operate self-sufficiently within a team

-          Proactive attitude

-          Be accountable and able to perform under stress

Technical skill requirements\:

-          SQL (preferable)

-          Familiar REST

-          Technical / logical affinity to be able to use tools for implementing business logic

-          Knowledge of OHI applications (e.g. configuration)

!|!Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
