Summary:

For the Hungarian Consulting organization, we are looking for a highly skilled DWH architect and Analytics specialist to join the local BIW team. In this position the candidate will analyze business requirements, plan and develop Analytics - BI, DWH or BD solution.:

Required experiences:

 

• Solution background: Data Warehouse (DWH) or Analytics - Business Intelligence (BI) or Big Data (BD) or Data mining, Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning
• Technologies: (on-prem and/or cloud): Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle Analytics technologies, data modeling Big data technologies,
• Industries: Financial Services, Bank,

Position will be in Budapest, Hungary, working with the local team.

Scope:

• Reporting to the BIW Consulting Practice Director
• Working with the delivery team
• Delivering successful projects both from a client and Oracle perspective
• Working closely with the client team to understand requirements, business processes, etc.
• Delivering required project scope, specification, design, test, etc. documentation
• Developing required solutions, data model, ETL solution, reports, analysis with Oracle tools
• Might lead a team of Consultants during project as required
• Supporting Oracle Consulting Sales Team if required to create proposals and proof of concepts.
• Working in association with members of local and regional BI Professional Communities, and sharing knowledge and best practice within the local practice and regional professional communities
• Building and maintaining relationships at all levels within each relevant client

Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Gathering and analysing business requirements and documenting that
• Translating customer requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Designing and developing DWH, Analytics – BI or BD solutions
• Leading small project teams as required
• Creating various documents, e.g. case studies, demos, presales presentations, proposals in order to support the consulting sales representatives 
• Identify and communicate opportunities for cross and up selling
• Corresponding of Oracle administration requirements

Key requirements for the role:

• University or Collage Degree
• Minimum 5 years relevant project experience
• Good consultant skills and experiences
• Strong business analytical skills and experience are required
• Strong problem solving skills
• Good technical overview of Oracle BI technology solutions
• Industry knowledge of Financial Services/Banking, and/or Public sector would be an advantage
• Data mining, Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning experiences would be an advantage
• Big Data experiences would be an advantage
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good English skills – spoken and written

As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.

8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.
