Position: Supply Chain – Senior Market Planner
Location: Shanghai
Key Performance Areas
This position will report directly to China Luxury market planning manager, and this position will act as an interface between China Luxury Marketing/Sales organization and the local & global supply chain team.
1. Responsible for short-mid-term and long-term demand planning for rolling 1~18 months.
2. Closely work with marketing, finance, and sales operation team to drive forecast assumption clarity and accuracy improvement year on year, on both sellable goods and marketing materials.
3. Proactively work with commercial team to capture the risk& opportunities into forecast;
4. Maintain and update forecast into JDA system, with weekly/monthly micro management in system by reflect latest business trend and building block assumptions in line with market calendar and SOP alignment.
5. Closely work with global center demand and supply planning, cross-region logistic and customer service team to ensure the supply readiness in local warehouse, and improve local customers’ order fulfilment rate.
6.Continuously drive the quality of post tracking and learning on new innovations, promotions, events, as key reference and benchmark for new launches.
7. Manage Phase-in-phase-out forecast and supply process according to business plan or supply-chain-driven change, with sufficient pre-build stock in local DC.
8. Develop & optimize forecast & inventory depletion process to drive inventory reduction and cost saving, as well as contributing to logistic cost saving.
9. Lead multiple core planning processes, including but not limited to forecast management with accuracy improvement actions, promotion and innovation readiness with performance analysis, inventory reduction and obsolete & excess avoidance actions.
10. Co-lead Luxury’s demand review and pre-SOP meeting with peer planners.
11. Provide support to China luxury planning team as back up to vacancies. Open to lead projects assigned ad-hoc.

Must-Have Requirements:
1. College Degree or above.
2. 5+ years tracked record of result relevant to demand/supply/manufacturing planning.
3. Strong knowledge and skill on key working systems (SAP , JDA are preferred).
4. Strong analytical skills and intuition to integrate data from different sources and make reasonable conclusions in an environment of demanding deadlines and time frames.
5. Strong communication and inter-personal skill, demonstrated strong ability to work across functions/levels.
6. Strong ownership and leadership and passion to win, with high self-resilience to high pressure
7. Strong English skill (verbal and written).
