Brief Description

The Communications business (www.oracle.com/communications) at Oracle is looking for an EMEA Senior Field Marketing Manager.  This is an integral role to the Communications Global Business Unit (CGBU) marketing team working across multiple groups (Sales, Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing) to create and execute demand generation field marketing programs and strategic events to grow sales pipeline for the Communications Services Providers market segment. 

 

The ideal candidate is passionate about B2B technology, thrives in a collaborative sales environment and has a minimum of 10 years’ experience building marketing/demand generation programs and managing events that successfully drive sales pipeline.

 
Detailed  Description
  • Partners with Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, Partner and Sales Teams in EMEA to create strategic marketing plan and support Sales pipeline/Revenue objectives
  • Develops and implements integrated marketing strategies and campaigns in conjunction with Sales, Channels, Product Marketing, Product Management, Oracle Direct (Telesales), and external influencers such as user groups and industry trade associations.
  • Strategically plans and executes events.
  • Orchestrates virtual teams to rollout key 3rd party events and other marketing programs.
  • Manages marketing resources and budget to be deployed using the most appropriate marketing mix for the line-of-business and/or geography.
  • Maintains necessary contact with major suppliers, agencies, customers, industry associations to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Measures programs ROI through metrics from marketing automation and CRM tools
 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of B2B marketing experiences, of which at least 5-8 years of experience in the technology industry
  • Proven track record executing multi-faceted event programs.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with high degree of attention to detail.
  • Experience in working with and managing external vendor relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work well with virtual teams.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to present complex ideas and influence leadership
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness, motivation, initiative.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hour.
  • Language skills\: English bilingual, additional European language(s) desirable (French, Spanish or German).  
  • University/College degree in business/marketing /engineering is required.
  • Moderate technical and strategic understanding of Communications industry solutions.

Development of communication programs to promote Oracle's products & services.

Integrate advertising into the marketing campaigns, exercising judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques for best practice / creative solution. As a recognized authority and leading contributor maintain regular interface between the division and Corporate. Plan and manage pan-geography corporate and local campaign media plans. Plan, manage and implement corporate and local campaign advertising creative. Manage tier 2 local advertising and arrange sign off with Corporate. Integrate all advertising across the communications mix. Maintain and communicate brand advertising guidelines. Oversee partner advertising. Develop and manage brand communications audit. Measure advertising effectiveness.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. A proven track record in advertising across line-of-business and/or geography as an account manager, with experience of creative production and media buying.
