Senior Financial Analyst, Amazon Customer Service Finance

Job Description
Amazon is looking for an experienced finance professional to support our rapidly evolving and growing China Customer Service Team. This is a visible role that will have an active role in managing daily operations, developing strategic operational and financial plans and driving ongoing process improvement while ensuring controllership over assets and expenditures. The successful candidate will have a strong business acumen, ability to partner with business leaders and a passion for data and diving deep. The ability to think creatively and work in a constantly evolving environment are critical for success.



Key job responsibilities
- Owning all controllership activities for the Customer Service site, including approving contracts, expenditures and headcount
- Managing month end close activities, including all journal entries and actual vs forecast analysis
- Partnering closely with both Customer Service site and country leadership teams on their financial and operational performance. This includes ensuring there is a strong organizational wide understanding of cost structure. As an extension, using this framework to identify and implement cost optimization opportunities.
- Ongoing process development and improvement across all areas of CS Finance. This will include effectively coordinating with our HR, Capacity Planning and Operations teams to drive organization wide efficiencies and eliminating redundancies
- Developing a deep understanding of the Financial Systems used in the organization
- Contributing and participating in Global Customer Service Finance projects and goals through root cause analyses leading to creating and implementing scalable solutions
